Overview
Weekcraft ("we", "our", "us") is a personal planning app that helps you organize your week using AI. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. We take your privacy seriously and do not sell your data.
Data We Collect
- Account information: Email address and name when you create an account.
- Profile preferences: Information you provide during onboarding such as activity level, lifestyle, goals, work situation, and timezone. This is used to personalize your experience.
- Calendar data: Events and time blocks you create within Weekcraft.
- Google Calendar data: If you connect Google Calendar, we access your Google Calendar events to display them alongside your Weekcraft schedule. We only read and write events. We never access other Google account data.
- Usage data: Basic app usage signals used to improve the product (e.g. feature usage frequency).
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and personalize the Weekcraft app experience.
- To generate AI-powered weekly plans and suggestions. When generating plans, we send anonymous lifestyle signals (e.g. activity level, goals) to our AI provider. We never send your name, email, or any identifying information.
- To sync your schedule with Google Calendar when you have enabled that feature.
- To improve the app over time.
Google Calendar Integration
Weekcraft's use of Google Calendar data is limited to the following:
- Reading your Google Calendar events to display them in your Weekcraft week view.
- Creating, updating, and deleting calendar events on your behalf when you add or modify items in Weekcraft.
We do not share your Google Calendar data with third parties. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising. Your Google Calendar access tokens are stored securely and used solely to communicate with the Google Calendar API on your behalf. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your calendar settings. This will remove all Google-sourced events from Weekcraft and delete your stored access credentials.
Weekcraft's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security enforced. Your data is only accessible to you. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.
Third-Party Services
- Supabase: database and authentication.
- Anthropic: AI model provider used to generate plans and suggestions. Only anonymous, non-identifying data is sent.
- Google: calendar integration (only when you choose to connect).
Your Rights
- You can update or delete your profile information at any time from the Profile page.
- You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the Calendar page.
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us.
